When glass meets UV flatbed printer



UV打印技术的发展为印刷厂尝试在不同类型的承印材料上进行印刷开辟了新的机遇。过去,在玻璃上成像主要是通过绘画、蚀刻和丝网印刷来实现的;现在,可以通过UV喷墨平板打印机技术实现。
UV printing technology opens up new opportunities for the development of the printing shop to try printing on the different types of substrates. In the past,Imaging on the glass mainly through painting, etching  and screen printing. But now it comes true ny UV inkjet flatbed printer technology.

印刷工艺过程
The printing process

画家和室内设计师发现,反面印刷玻璃是一种非常有效的方法,无须用到增黏剂。在反面印刷,或称为“第二表面印刷”,可以让最终产品通过玻璃本身得到保护。
Painters and interior designers found that reverse printing glass is a very effective method, do not need to use  tackifier .In the reverse printing, or called "the second surface printing", can make the final product be protected by the glass itself.

不需要涂布

不涂布玻璃,也可以成功地在玻璃上进行UV印刷。
It  also can be successfully on the glass for UV printing without coated.

用低固化的光量在玻璃上印刷,然后以不印刷的通道使印品固化,“双印”玻璃印品,或玻璃蚀刻是用于替代增加增黏剂或液体覆合层,都是保护玻璃的方法。
With a low amount of light curing on the glass printing, then let the channel which no printing curing to product, "double seal" glass printing product , or glass etching is used to replace increase tackifier or liquid draping layer, all is the way to protect the glass.

将颜料喷墨打印的图像转印到玻璃上。使用MAXCAN理光打印机进行打印,工艺过程适合于在UV打印机上将图像印刷到玻璃上。
Let the pigment inkjet printing image transfer to glass. Using the Ricoh machine from Maxcan to print. This process is suitable for printing the image onto the glass by uv printer.

在玻璃上印刷的成功取决于优异的附着力和结合能力。在用UV-LED打印技术进行打印时,有三种技术可以用来提高附着力。
The success of printing on glass  depends on excellent adhesion and binding capacity.There are 3 ways to improve the adhesion when printing by UV-LED printing technology.

第一种方法为擦底漆。
The first way is rub primer

这种技术需要将底漆涂覆在玻璃的整个表面,最好用不起毛的布,涂底漆的表面会产生阴晦、沉闷的外观。
This technique requires that the primer coated the entire surface of the glass , preferably with a lint-free cloth , primed surface will have dark , dull appearance.

第二种是利用Maxcan F2500G打印机进行打印底漆喷。Maxcan F2500G可以精确地把底漆打印到所需要的地方,不需要其他擦拭或抛光的工序。
The second way is using Maxcan F2500G printr to print primer. Maxcan F2500G can accurately print the primer on the  where it is needed.without additional wiping or polishing step.

第三种技术为等离子体处理。首先,它要去除各种表面杂质,如灰尘或溶剂清洁剂可能留下的残留物。与此同时,它能产生一个更有利于与墨水相结合的表面。
The third way is plasma treatment. At first ,it need to clear the impurity of the interface.Such as 
dust or solvent cleaners may leave a residue.At the same time,it can generate a better interface to combine with ink.

其他提示和技巧
Other tips and track

要延长使用寿命,有几个关键的步骤要加以遵循。
There are several key step you need to follow if you want to extend the service life.

首先,建议在印刷时戴上棉手套;此外,由于制造工艺的原因,玻璃有透明的一面和“发雾的”一面,必须确保要打印在玻璃透明的一面上。
At first,recommend that wear cotton gloves when printing.Moreover,there a transparent side and foggy side due to the reason of manufacturing process.We must be sure to print on one side of the transparent glass

其他UV印刷工艺和专门的玻璃印刷工艺之间,最大区别是印刷后的烘烤过程。MAXCAN公司建议,在343℃的温度下,UV喷墨打印机将印刷好的玻璃通过传送带进入干燥箱烘烤10分钟。这种烘烤工艺能永久地把玻璃、底漆和墨水黏结在一起,产品能持久使用。
The biggest difference between other UV printing technology and professional glass printing technology is the baking process after printing. Maxcan recommends that it will be better to the glass which is printed by inkjet printer through the belt to bake oven 10 minutes 
at a temperature of 343 ℃.This baking process can permanently make glass , paint and ink stick together , the product can be long-lasting use .
